The Walla Walla Solar Farm is FRV Australia’s largest project to date, increasing the company’s renewable energy portfolio significantly.
The project supports New South Wales’ drive to meet renewable energy targets and created up to 350 construction jobs increasing investment in local services.

Zenviron lands BOP contract for 1.4 GWh battery project
Zenviron, which specialises in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia and New Zealand, will deliver the balance-of-plant (BOP) design, construction, installation and commissioning of the Wooreen battery energy storage system.
The facility, one of six large-scale projects to receive financial backing through the first round of federal government’s Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS), will be constructed alongside EnergyAustralia’s 450 MW gas-fired Jeeralang power station at Hazelwood North in the Latrobe Valley.

SMCE supported WHF Building Contractors in the design, construction and supervision of a $7m mixed retail development at 28 Main Street, Rockhampton, for the accomplished Central Queensland developer Powercat Group.
Construction Takes Place in PNG
SMCE were the structural engineers on the Curtain Brothers built multi-storey government office building. Located in the highlands of PNG is one of three buildings that will be built for the local province of Hela. Structural steelwork has been erected and floor slabs are in the process of being poured.
